The Earth, the Sun and the Universe itself provide the stage and the setting in which human beings came into existence. Simply put, to answer the question of humanity's origins we need to research how the solar system was formed, and how the atoms and molecules that form life were brought to Earth. In this sense, I believe that through astronomy we stand to gain a better understanding of the roots of humanity.
